Privacy Policy

1. Our Privacy Philosophy

StockCraft was built with privacy-by-design as a core principle. We do not have user accounts, we do not have servers that store your information, and we do not collect, sell, or transmit your personal financial data (your portfolio, budget, or holdings) to anyone. That data lives only on your device. Note that we do use Google AdSense to display ads, which uses cookies as described in Section 4 below.

2. What Stays On Your Device

The following information is stored only in your device's local browser storage and never transmitted to StockCraft or any third party (unless you explicitly choose to use the AI Bank Import feature):

• Your portfolio, holdings, and transaction history (in the simulator)
• Your budget, income, and expense entries
• Your debt records
• Your AI provider API key (if you set one)
• Your name and preferences
• Bonus offers you've marked as claimed
• Your acceptance of these terms

You can clear all of this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing your browser's site data for StockCraft.

3. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not have user accounts, so there are no usernames or passwords
• We do not collect your real bank login credentials
• We do not store any transaction data on any server
• StockCraft itself does not track you across other apps or websites (though our advertising provider, Google, may use cookies for ad targeting — see Section 4 and your opt-out options)
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information

4. Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)

StockCraft is free to use and is supported in part by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Here is what you should know:

• Cookies & identifiers. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits.
• The DoubleClick / advertising cookie. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone's past visits to StockCraft or other websites.
• Your choices. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance) or youronlinechoices.eu (for EU users).
• What advertisers may collect. While StockCraft itself does not collect your personal financial data, Google and its advertising partners may collect data such as your device type, approximate location (from your IP address), browsing behavior, and ad interactions, governed by Google's own Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
• We do not share your app data with advertisers. Your portfolio, budget, holdings, and other in-app data stay on your device and are never sent to Google or any advertiser.

Analytics & session tools. To understand how the app is used and improve it, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These services use cookies and similar technologies to collect data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (from your IP address), and how you interact with the app. Microsoft Clarity may also record anonymized session replays and heatmaps of interactions (like taps and scrolls) to help us see where the app can be improved. This data helps us make StockCraft better — it is never used to identify you personally, and your in-app data (portfolio, budget, holdings) stays on your device and is never sent to these services. Embedded market data (TradingView). Our "How's the Market?" page embeds live market data widgets provided by TradingView. When these widgets load, TradingView may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type, governed by TradingView's own privacy policy (tradingview.com/privacy-policy). StockCraft does not produce, verify, control, or endorse the market data or news headlines shown in these widgets, and they are provided for informational and educational purposes only \u2014 not as a recommendation to buy or sell any security. If you do not load that page, these widgets are never requested.

5. Third-Party Services You Choose To Use

AI Bank Import: If you use this feature, your screenshot is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you choose (Anthropic or OpenAI), using an API key you provide. StockCraft never sees your screenshot or your API key. Review the AI provider's own privacy policy before using:

Affiliate Links: When you click an affiliate link, you leave the App and are subject to that company's privacy policy. We may receive notification that a referral occurred (typically anonymized), but we do not see your application data with that company.

Advertising: The App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ads may use device identifiers per Google's policies. Review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Web Fonts: The App loads typography from Google Fonts. Google may log standard web request information per their privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

StockCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please clear their device's data for the App.

7. California, Virginia, and Other State Privacy Rights

California residents (under CCPA), Virginia residents (under VCDPA), and residents of other states with privacy laws have specific rights regarding their personal information. Because StockCraft does not collect or store your personal information on our servers, there is no data for us to access, delete, or transfer. All your data is on your device — you control it directly.

8. International Users (GDPR)

The App is offered to users in the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk. Because StockCraft does not have servers that collect your data, the App is structurally compliant with privacy regulations including GDPR, though we make no guarantees of compliance with all foreign laws.

9. Security

While we built the App with security best practices, no software is completely secure. You should not enter sensitive information (Social Security Numbers, full bank account numbers, or government IDs) into the App. The App does not request or require such information.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we change this Policy in ways that affect how we treat your information, we will update the effective date and prompt you within the App.

✓ Plain English Summary: Your data stays on your phone. We don't have servers. We can't see what you do in the App. If you use AI Import, that's between you and the AI company. If you click an affiliate link, that's between you and that company. We don't sell anything about you. Ever.
